Kieran Richardson, currently onloan at WBA, is determined to
establish himself in Manchester United's first team.
The 20-year-old left winger was taken to the Hawthorns by
Bryan Robson in a bid to help the struggling midland team in
their fight for Premiership survival.
But Richardson's longterm ambitions remain at Old Trafford,
and the young Londoner firmly believes he can succeed Ryan
Giggs.
"I definitely want to go back next season and try to be a
regular," Richardson said. He was assured by Sir Alex
Ferguson that the temporary move would be good for his
career."Sir Alex just told me to go to West Brom and get
some experience for next season."
If, as rumours would suggest, Sir Alex Ferguson does not
have much of a transfer kitty this summer, after spending
over £20million to secure Wayne Rooney, Richardson believes
he will have a chance to show what he can do for Manchester
United.
But Richardson's ambitions do not stop there. He feels, with
the right luck and opportunity, he could become the answer
to England's longstanding left wing problems, too. "It's
always great playing for your country and maybe soon (I can)
make a step up to the senior squad, that's the main
aim."
