Paul Scholes has reiterated his decision not to play in the white of England again after Sven's persistance.

Recently the Swede admitted in an interview that he would like the Ginger Prince to step out of retirement and grace the world with his talents once more.

However Scholes who scored 14 goals in 66 appearances for his country did concede he misses the team but harbours no desire to go back:

"I still feel I've made the right decision," Scholes told MUTV.

"Obviously when you see the team playing you do miss a little bit of the actual game.

"But I've not changed my mind.

"It's nice to know you're still wanted.

"But as I say I'm happy with what I did and that's just the way it is."

Scholes' loss to England has been The Red Devils' gain and the midfielder has noticed an improvement in his condition this season.

"It's quite difficult to tell," he added, "but I do feel a little bit fresher."
